How to land a job in climate tech

Interesting post by the Stack Overflow Blog, if you are a "climate quitter", a coder or enthousiast like me. Great to propagate for a broader audience.

Specially in times with headlinies like these:

Back to the Stack Overflow Blog, according to the author - Ritika Puri - "Climate tech is a niche industry and requires specific strategies to get a job in ... a smart move for engineers seeking more meaning and purpose at work."

Here Ritika's tips:

  1. Stop making excuses for why you can’t do it

  2. Don’t expect recruiters to find you

  3. Explore climate-tech focused job boards

  4. Follow the financing

  5. Join a cohort-based community

  6. Create your own job by building direct relationships with employers

The World needs you. And your team mates.

(Before we get smaller ;-) according to a 2022 post by the WEF, "Could humans become smaller in response to climate change?")
